This program will provide you with:
Develop trust in yourself
Learning simplistic techniques/escapes
Mental acuity in assault situations
The utilization of all acquired "TIPS"
“TIPS” will provide potentially life saving techniques from 8 of the most common assaults or threats. Numerous other “TIPS” will also be shared. Sensei Jaye Veley, Rec. Coor. for the on-going Wethersfield Karate Program has assembled and simplified the most effective techniques preparing you for unwelcomed aggressions. Short, intense, interactive sessions will give you knowledge, and confidence without long term commitments. The program is condensed into 4 weekly 1 ½ hr sessions at Silas Deane Middle School. Arrangements can also be made for remote location sessions. Strongly recommended, and tailored for, Jr. High/Young Adults, Adults/Seniors, College bound woman/Woman in general, and Bullying targets. All would benefit greatly.

In the world we live in today, college women are taken advantage of far too often. Get the T.I.P.S to ensure that this never happens on or off campus.
Unfortunately, the elderly are often a prime target of abuse and aggression. This program will allow them to regain their peace of mind.
T.I.P.S will provide middle-aged adults with reassurance that they are still capable of defending themselves in hostile situations.
Students in middle school and high school will learn how to stand up to bullies who seek to do them harm.
